There is a power to surrounding yourself with things that make you feel good- that ultimately raise your vibration.
Because feeling good is probably one of the most important things you can do in life - because you attract in your life what you’re in harmony with.
So if you're living in an amazing vibration, you're going to attract the most beautiful people, experiences, and coincidences in life, because that's what you're in harmony with. But if you're operating from a lower vibration, you can only attract what's on the same frequency as that vibration.
So the key is to make sure you’re always operating from an amazing vibration, feeling so grateful for all the good that’s coming to you - having faith and expecting that it’s on its way. Because if you live with this belief, the belief will start manifesting itself into material form. That's the Law of Perpetual Transmutation.
And when you live from this place, your life becomes this beautiful, magical experience where things come to you easily and effortlessly.
That’s when you experience those beautiful, happy coincidences. That’s when you feel like luck is constantly on your side. And that’s when all the beauty you desire in your life comes to fruition...
This was the question I asked myself after I officially graduated from college, after going through 17 years of traditional education. After going through years what most people spend their lives going through (exhaustion, burnout, and frustration), I knew that there had to be a better way to live, to be, to experience life.
And it was through asking myself these questions that I started discovering these truths - the truths that so many people overlook because they seem so simple.
Because here’s the truth: You are so freakin capable of achieving all of your goals and dreams.
Everything you want is already inside of you. You already have everything you need to achieve your goals. It’s all here...
What if everything in your life was unfolding exactly as it's supposed to?
I know, especially during the times we’re living in, this can be hard to believe. And that’s often because we feel safe when we’re in control. We feel safe when we think we can control the outcome and we know what we can expect.
And now, we’re living in times where living in the unexpected is the new norm. And it is affecting our lives on so many levels and in ways that we could never have imagined.
But, here’s my question for you?
What if this was the greatest thing that ever happened to you? What if allowing yourself to surrender and live in the unexpected is leading you to live the life you always dreamed of?
I think 2020 has tested us in some of the most unusual ways. We’re probably living in some of the most unique, unprecedented times in our lifetimes, as we’re living in this state of unknown, trying to navigate through so much uncertainty in this fast-changing world.
I know 2020 has tested me in some of the craziest ways. It has shown me who I am through so many changing circumstances. And I believe, as a whole, it has shown us what we’re willing to tolerate and what we’re no longer willing to deal with (in our lives) anymore. It has introduced us to different directions and paths we can take our lives in, for some of us, in directions we could have never expected.
And through all of this, it’s been this beautiful reminder to ask ourselves, what do we really want out of life? What do we want to create? What do we want to be known for? Why are we even here on this planet?
And the answer always is: to do greater good, no matter what our talents and abilities are.
2020 has pushed me to grow and step outside of my comfort zone...
I believe everything that we experience in life happens for us, not to us. If we allow ourselves to look at life this way, the most challenging experiences can end up being the ones that push us to grow the most - so we can become the people that we are destined to be during our time here on this planet.
I went through this experience back in 2014.
Six years ago, I was experiencing one of the most difficult summers of my life. It felt as if so many aspects of my life were falling apart. My parent’s marriage, my old stories, my sense of stability and certainty were all at their edge for months. And I was honestly trying to figure out how to just feel stable.
During this summer of chaos, there was this one beautiful week where I felt clarity for the first time in months. And this was the time when I went camping along the ocean in Montauk for six days.
And it was such a beautiful, relieving experience. It was the first time I felt free. It was the first time that I could hear that inner voice, that sense of knowing, and intuition that was trying to speak to me, that was trying to get my attention and show me what was actually true in life - what life is truly all about.
And during this beautiful week, I came up with the idea to create the painting that changed my life and my work.
This painting was The Release. And this painting was the first time I allowed myself to create based on who I was as an individual, as a human experiencing life on planet Earth. It was one of the first times that I created work that was a pure extension of who I was, which has led to all of the paintings that I am creating today.
And it was also the first time I allowed myself to take risks in my work and bet on myself, knowing that I was going to be able to figure anything out.
And today, I am so grateful that there are now prints of this painting living in so many homes throughout the States.
So, for the first time, I am sharing the story behind this painting on video and all the beautiful takeaways that I have learned since creating this painting.
These past five years, I've been on a journey and practice of going deeper to discover the truth of who I am. It’s honestly been the most beautiful, wild ride where I continue to dive deeper and discover what I am capable of.
I am so passionate about this because I believe we have this one beautiful opportunity to live life and experience all the beauty that life has to offer on this planet. And it’s up to us to embrace it and tap into the infinite beings that we are.
I've taken these past few weeks to go within, to truly understand how and why the world is transforming and going through so much chaos. We've seen so many buried issues in our world and society rise to the surface.
After taking this time, I'm beginning to understand that everything in life is happening to bring us forward into a higher consciousness of being.
Sometimes we can’t understand it. Sometimes we can’t comprehend it, especially when we’re living in the midst of it within the chaos of the moment. But the Universe is always trying to bring us forward, and sometimes this way of advancing us takes us into different directions.
As Bob Proctor says, “Order is Heaven’s first law.” And out of chaos brings a higher degree of order.
If we choose to follow the law, and go within, go three levels deeper, we can see how sometimes all these moments in life need to happen to bring us and our planet onto a higher level of consciousness and awareness.
I believe each of us is the people that we are because of how we addressed each of the experiences that have come into our lives, whether we perceived them to be positive or negative. But the truth is, nothing is good or bad. Everything just is.
And there is good in everything. And when we live life from this standpoint, we allow ourselves to grow into greater, stronger, and more evolved beings.
I first experienced this truth back in the summer of 2014 when I almost hit my breaking point. That spring and summer, I was honestly living in a state of chaos. My familial relationships were falling apart back at home, and my life was in a state of chaos, trying to meet what felt like impossible school deadlines in the midst of everything. There was no sense of order or stability in my life for so many months, and I'll be honest, I felt so disconnected from myself and my purpose.
And then that summer, I hit a point where I decided enough was enough. I realized there had to be a better way to live life, a better way to perceive the world.
So I started searching for answers. I reached a point of surrender. And once I started reconnecting with my truth and living in alignment with my purpose, my life’s calling, everything started to fall beautifully into place. I started creating artwork that became a pure extension of who I was. And that was when I created my bestselling painting, The Release.
I started manifesting the most amazing friendships, dreams of mine, and creations that I could have never imagined 5-10 years before.
The truth is we all have a choice in how we perceive the different events that come into our lives. When we remember that our lives are happening for us and not to us, we become invincible.
It has taken me a few years to fully understand this, but in this video, I share the story of the journey I took to get back into alignment with who I was. And how you can too.
How are you using this unique time we’re living in now?
I honestly believe this is the time to get back into alignment. I think the universe is making us take a deep look at our lives and is asking us to see if we’re actually living in alignment with who we truly are and why we’re here on this planet.
If we have anything right now, it is time. Time to figure out if we are on the right paths. Time to figure out how we can be living our lives better. Time to become the best version of ourselves. And time to do those things we've always wanted to do.
I believe this time, right now, can be the greatest opportunity of your life. Most of us have more free time than we've ever had in our lives now that we're all living and working from home. I believe now is the time to start and accomplish all the things you've always wanted to do. So the question is, what are you going to do with it? I created this special video for you here.
I believe we're all here to create in the world. I truly believe that is why each of us is here. We're here to create, make an impact, and a difference in our own respective ways.
All I've ever wanted to do in my life is to inspire people - where it is through my art, my content, or anything that I put out in the world. So I hope this video inspires you to live to the fullest and create the impact you truly desire to make on this planet.
Come join me behind the scenes! These past few weeks and months, I have been working on filming and creating behind the scenes videos so I could bring you into my world, as I'm creating and dancing in my studio. 😅 💃
Morning Dream is a celebration of life. In this video, I talk about the story and the inspiration behind the original painting.
This painting represents all of life's forms coming together and happily co-existing and celebrating the beauty of life with one another in the beautiful morning light. I believe this painting embraces that we have so much more in common than we even realize. Our similarities are so much more powerful than the differences that tend to stand between us. I hope that this painting reminds us of what is really important in life.
This year, I've gradually been adding new paintings on my website, and I wanted to share with you the three newest paintings and fine art prints that are now available.
Impact is a painting that originally began as a commission to be made into a canvas print. And, after much thought, this painting ended up representing my word for the year.
I genuinely believe there are so many forces in our world that make a physical impact, where we physically feel the energy from large depths of water crashing down into the surface of the Earth, whether it is through a series of waterfalls or a wave. But we ourselves also have the ability to create such an impact on this world, through our thoughts, our words, our actions, our energies, and our beliefs.
Art is genuinely a gift to the world. It's what we crave in the human experience. Art gives meaning to our lives and helps us understand our world. It is an essential part of our culture because it allows us to have a deeper understanding of our emotions; it increases our self-awareness, and also allows us to be open to new ideas and experiences. Art therefore continues to open our minds and our hearts and shows us what could be possible in our world.
Thank you for following me along on my journey. I am so grateful to have you here and share my process, my inspiration, and my mission in life as an artist and fellow human being.
My mission in life is to radiate light. I want to be able to walk in a room and raise the vibrations, the spirits, and the energies around me. And I strive for my paintings to do the same.
I strive to create work that will bring serenity into your home: paintings that will raise the vibration and the energy in each room.
Are you ready to make a beautiful investment that will bring serenity to your walls?
Did you know when you purchase an artwork, you are not only buying a pretty or decorative work to hang on your walls? You are investing in the artwork and in the artist. Artists continually increase their prices as they are building and expanding in their art careers. The more years of experience an artist has, the more their work is worth over time. As an artist develops in their career, their work becomes worth even more each year.
As an artist and a lover of art, I have always made an effort to purchase artwork whenever I had a strong connection to a particular painting or drawing. I know that artwork can inspire, transform lives, and can bring energy into any space. I've experienced it firsthand.
When I was 12 years old, I remember discovering an artist named Christian Riese Lassen while I was traveling with my family in Maui. I was so inspired by his paintings. I honestly felt that every time I visited his gallery, I was immersed in this magical underwater world. It would always brighten my day and managed to put a smile on my face. I even talked about taking the $500 I had raised so far for my first computer to purchase one of his beautiful painting of two dolphins. At the time, my parents and the gallery owner recommended that I save the money for my first computer and then come back after this computer has made me money to buy his beautiful painting.
Nature has always been a huge inspiration for me. Its the core essence of who we are as living beings on this planet. Every time I connect with nature, I am reminded of who I truly am and what is truly important in life - this is something I always work to convey in my paintings. Nature is one of the most beautiful, healing parts of our planet. It is a reminder that life is happening exactly as it’s supposed to. It always grounds me to who I am at my core as a living being on this planet.
As someone who believes that we’re all interconnected, I think it’s essential to find ways that we can connect with nature in our daily lives. We as humans are meant to be interacting with nature. We’ve been doing it for thousands of years. It’s only recently in the past two centuries that we’ve started to lose that connection with the outdoors as our jobs and lives have transitioned inside into factories, corporate offices, and classrooms. Since it is not always possible to spend all day every day outdoors, we need to find ways to compensate so we can still experience nature’s benefits within our homes and workspaces.
If you're anything like me, you know that your health is your most important asset. It is so important to make sure your mental and physical health is at its optimal best, so you can live to the fullest and work towards your goals and dreams. And I genuinely believe that in order to make sure that your health is at its best, you need to surround yourself with things that make you feel good both mentally and physically. And what better what to bring life to your home than plants that are cleaning your air.
I truly believe that we as humans are meant to be living amongst nature. We’ve been doing it for thousands of years. It’s only been the past 2 1/2 centuries that we made the shift to primarily working inside as the industrial revolution came into reality in 1760. While it isn’t nearly possible to spend every moment outdoors, unless your job allows you to do so, the best alternative is to figure out ways to incorporate nature into your home and office so you can still receive many of the health benefits that go along with it.
I believe our homes should be our sanctuaries. Anytime that I didn’t have a place where I can let go, I often felt lost because I didn’t have that place to ground myself, to feel like I could just let go and fully be myself, without holding back at all. I believe it is so important for both our mental and physical health, since everything is interconnected. So I’ve created a list of 5 ways you can transform your home into that sanctuary where you can spend time in, where you can just be yourself, and let go.
Are you looking for the perfect artwork to decorate your walls? Let’s be real! Choosing the artwork that perfectly suits your home can take time. But it doesn’t have to be as complicated or as difficult as some people make it out to be. It all comes down to how you want to feel as you’re entering and experiencing your living space.
As an artist, I have seen people purchase artwork because they immediately have a connection to the work and they simply can’t leave without taking the painting home with them. There are others who buy art because it matches their decor or perfectly fits into a space in their living room or a specific room in their home. There truly is no right or wrong reason. Everyone has different needs depending on their living situation so make sure to shop for your own needs and desires.
Let’s be real! Gallery walls can be really tricky to create. They involve creating a nice balance of different works of art with the size, colors, shapes, and textures. But the final result, when done right, can end up being such a beautiful accomplishment.
The beautiful aspects of creating a gallery wall are you can create an impact that embraces your personality and who you are through the different types of artworks that you choose to display. You can create a collection from your favorite artworks that you have collected over time. And remember, there is no one RIGHT way to create a gallery wall. Below, I will be explaining some of the best tips that I have learned so you can create the perfect gallery wall for your home.
How would it feel to call yourself an art collector? Imagine if you can surround yourself with the beauty and language of different artists. Let me tell you that it’s definitely possible and you can do this…no matter what your budget is. I personally love to surround myself with the work of different artists because it creates a really beautiful and inspiring environment to work in, be creative, whether I am reading, drawing, journaling, or simply creating a blog post like this one.
And here are 7 inspiring ideas for places you can decorate your home with art:
Do you have a blank wall in your apartment? Would you like to fill that wall with artwork that complements your decor? But what is the best way to make that original painting, drawing or print feel like it ultimately fits into your home?
I personally believe that each person will decorate in a way that works for him or her. What works for one person may not suit the style for someone else. And that’s totally fine. Each person has a different taste, different personality, and a different sense of style. The key is figuring out which style works the best for you and fits who you are, and the look and feel you’re trying to achieve for your home.
These past few months, I’ve been developing my Serenity series. I originally started these paintings, not realizing that they were going to be a part of a series until I realized that they all had a strong feeling in common. My largest painting in the series, embodying the name of Serenity, embraces the concept behind the entire series.
I don’t know if you can personally relate, but for years, I used to get so caught up in every detail in life. I kept wondering why certain things were happening to me when I couldn’t make sense of any of it at all. Instead of looking at the big picture, I would often get caught up in the present moment and be the thermometer that was continually going up and down.
I am so grateful for the comments and the feedback I've received from this body of work. I understand that original art is not for everyone but let me just tell you about what goes into creating a painting so you can better understand what came into creating this specific body of artwork.
My paintings,DichotomyandMorning Dreamtook about two years to create. I started these right before I started my large thesis paintings. When I first started creatingDichotomy, it was initially in a horizontal/landscape orientation. I originally planned on making this into an abstracted misty landscape with mountains or forms appearing in the distance.
I was lucky enough to grow up traveling to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Montauk, NY, Florida, Hawaii, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Washington State, Italy, and Israel. My mom would take my sister and me on these amazing mountain hikes with the most incredible views; we would swim with dolphins in the wild and we would drive to see the most beautiful skies. I immediately fell in love with nature and the beautiful landscape that it has created.
Morning Bloom, Oil on Canvas, 56 x 37in
I believe nature is so special and honestly is the cure for so many of our problems in our current society. Do you ever find that when you take a walk in nature, you can start to think clearly again? You can finally hear and understand that little voice in your head. You can begin to trust your intuition. All of a sudden, everything makes sense in your life. This is exactly what I was trying to convey in my paintingsMorning BloomandDichotomy. I was interested in creating these worlds and spaces where you can easily relax, meditate, and feel that strong, powerful effect that you may experience while interacting with nature. Nature has the power for us to heal and find clarity in our lives, and I think so many of us forget to acknowledge this amazing resource we have available to us right outside our door.
Art has so much power in our world. That is why it has existed for hundreds of thousands of years. Have you ever heard about the Bhimbetka and Daraki-Chattan Cupules that could be from 290- 700,000 BCE or the famous Lascaux Paleolithic cave paintings in France that are estimated to be 20,000 years old?
Art is an essential part of our lives and that's why it has been found in almost every culture for thousands of years and it continues to exist to this day.
When I was in student, I didn’t have a large budget to spend on art. As an artist, I always love to be surrounded by art but I have experienced the financial struggle of only having a limited budget to decorate my space because of all the other expenses life throws at you.
Yet creating a space that was unique and in which I felt comfortable and inspired in was on top of my priority list.
Can you relate? Even if my budget was thin, I still felt the need to buy art and decorate my space with art because it brought life to my home.
Do you wish you could customize an Original Painting to your space? Sometimes you may see an original painting that you love, but it's either not the right dimensions, or it's out of your budget. Here's the next best, modern alternative to purchasing an original painting.
