What inspires your work?

My work is inspired by all the beautiful places I have experienced in my life. I was lucky enough to grow up traveling to some of the most beautiful landscapes in Montauk, NY, Florida, Hawaii, California, New Mexico, Arizona, Washington State, Italy, and Israel. My mom would take my sister and me on these amazing mountain hikes with the most incredible views; we would swim with dolphins in the wild, and we would drive to see the most beautiful skies. I immediately fell in love with nature and the beautiful landscape that it has created. I am interested in creating these worlds and spaces where you can easily relax, meditate, and feel that strong, powerful effect that you experience while interacting with nature. Nature has that power for us to heal and find clarity in our lives, and I think so many of us forget to acknowledge this amazing resource we have available to us right outside our door. I have always loved appreciating those beautiful details in nature. I think they define all of those lovely moments in life that so many of us overlook.

How long will it take to ship an original painting or print?

All original paintings will be shipped directly from the studio 4-7 days after the order is received. Unless it is a custom order, all prints will be shipped directly from Bay Photo in Scotts Valley, CA. These prints will be shipped from Bay Photo 3-7 days after the order is received. 

If you need an original painting by a specific date, please contact info@samanthakaplanart.com, and we will make sure to rush your order. If you need a fine art print by a particular date, you can either select to rush your order, as shown in the image below, or leave a message before you add the print to your cart. This message will be sent directly to Bay Photo. 

Can I order a print in a specific size that is not listed in the available size options?

Of course! We can make a print in almost every size. Send us an email at info@samanthakaplanart.com, and we'll happily order the exact size of the print you're looking for. 

What is your return policy?

I want to make sure you are happy with every original painting and print purchase. You have 30 days to return an original painting or print after your purchase for a full refund. All the original packaging must be returned in the same condition as it was received to receive a full refund. Please review my Shipping and Return Policy for more information. 

Do you take custom commission orders?

I do! You can explain exactly what you're looking for HERE and then I will be in contact with you.

How do I know which print would be best suited for me?

I created this free guide to help you figure out the perfect print that will best suit your space. 

I want a specific painting, but it is too big for my walls. 

This is why I offer high-end giclee paper, canvas, and metal prints of different sizes. These are beautiful and cheaper options that you can customize to any specific wall space that you are looking to decorate. And you can also order a specific size that is not listed in the size options for no extra charge. Just send us an email: info@samanthakaplanart.com, and we would be happy to accommodate you with any specific needs.

Will these paintings be a good fit for my home and/or office?

I believe my original abstract landscape paintings and fine art prints could be a good fit for everyone. Are you someone who connects with stories? Would you like to be surrounded by nature in your home or workspace? Are you someone who wants to connect with something larger than yourself? Would you like to have beautiful walls in your home?
